An approach to community support was sealed today when Post Fiji reached out to assist Nabukaluka District School in Naitasiri in their fundraising efforts to upgrade the school facilities by sponsoring the Nabukaluka Rugby 7s and Netball Tournament, for the third year.

Vunidawa Post Office, set in the heart of the Naitasiri province, services the 8 villages, more than 10 settlements and 5 schools in the area. It provides postal, money transfer services and retail services for the villagers, workers, students and visitors in the area. Post Fiji is pleased to contribute towards Nabukaluka District School’s endeavour to renovate its facilities for students and teachers from the surrounding villages and settlements that need the facilities to obtain an education.

In sponsoring the Nabukaluka Rugby 7s and Netball Tournament, Post Fiji is proud to help the school in ensuring attendance and thereby encouraging education, especially for students who would otherwise have no access to education.

This 7s and netball tournament will also showcase local sporting talents and unite the people of Naitasiri during this two-day event, held over the Fiji Day weekend.
